Everybody should understand that it is a great kainkaryam of patronising the trust because adiyen, why adiyen? the whole Kanchi dwellers and devottees witness the dedication and devotion of Veda Parayanakainkarya Swamins and the trust always. There are about 30 vidwans always even for ordinary pancha parva utsava purappadu also. They are always supported with remunaration and thadeeyaradhanam during festivals, vastram etc by the trust. The Veda Vidwans feel it is their bhagyam to take part in the kainkaryam and do not see timing, distance and the remunaration for their kainkaryam. They will accept whatever is offered. No expectation or no demand. They do service day and night. These Veda Vidwans walk about 24kms in a day continuously for 12 days without (cheppal) water and food during Brahmotsavam. During Brahmotsavam these Vidwans start about 4am with emberuman and reach 11am. They will have a little nap in the afternoon and again will start with emberuman in the evening about 4.30pm and will return at 11pm in the night. All these days thadeeyaradhanam is organised by the trust (Sri. U.Ve. Sadagopan Swamin's house). Whenever Sri Devadhirajan leaves the shrine then Vedavidwans follow Emberuman like Sri Mahalakshmi. they complete the parayanam only when emberuman goes for rest. The Veda vidwans if they go out for upadyayam they can earn a lot, but their wish is Emberuman's kainkaryam is first. So adiyen also appeal all the Srivaishnavas and devottees to contribute generously to this very very noble and spiritual cause.
