Partial Solar Eclipse: - On 17th of Aadi month (1 – 08 – 2008) Friday Ketu Grastam. It starts in South and ends in west. Dimension: 0.3 Yaamya Parva. Eclipse Beginning – Evening 4 - 40 PM. mid Eclipse 5 – 25 PM. Eclipse ends at 6 – 07 PM. One should not eat food in the daytime. AMMAAVAASYAA Sraardham must be performed next day. Those born in the stars Punarpoosam, Pushyam, Aailyam, Anusham and Uttrattadi must perform Archanai in the Temple. Fruits of the Eclipse: Since, two Eclipses occur in the same month, there will be War between Kings (Governments) and conflicts between Militaries. Eclipse is harmful to Gaandhaaram (Afganistan), Cheenam (China), Kaashmeeram (Kashmir) and Pulinda Countries .The Eclipse is harmful to Horses of the kingdom of Kaamboja, People will be in sorrow due to hunger and suffer in diseases. One should eat dinner before 3.00 PM (IST) daytime on Saturday. Those born in the stars Thiruvonam, Avittam, Sadayam, Mrgaseersham and Chittirai should perform Archanai in Temple.
