A dear friend asked me in this context if there is a " Professional CD/DVD" on the 108 Dhivya Desams celebrated by the AzhwArs . Although Dr.M.A.Alwar and myself released two audios and One Multimedia release on AzhwAr's Vaibhavams including the recitation of the appropriate dhivya desams covered by individual AzhwArs , There are no Professional CD ROMS on the 108 dhivya dEsams . The reason is that it is an enormous project . One can get an idea of the enormity of the Kaimakryam by browsign the Web sites created by Sri Sridhar Lakshminarasimhan of Bangalore . We have taken another approach (Viz.,) the creation of ebooks on the individual dhivya dEsams as enjoyed by Azhwars . Apart from that Swamin Padma Shri Sampath Kumar's Divya Desam experience is very useful but it is very short on various Divya Desam. Madurai Ramji Audio and Videos have already released (some three years back) a DVD/CD " 108 Divya DesangkaL " It is a very good work. They have covered all the 106 Divya Desams.
