Guest guest
Dear sri vaishNava perunthagaiyeer, First of all I am making it clear this is NOT AN APPEAL for MONEY. There exists a sri vaishNava sampradhaya sannidhi for lord "sree srinivasan" and his consort "padhmaasani" in Tambaram Velachery main road in Chennai, [about 300 meters inside from the main road] in the place named mEdavakkam. This temple is located on a small hillock and the presiding lord is 'abheeshta varadhan'. This place 'medavakkam' is slowly turning out to be the next center place like the IT niche velachery and placed around 7 kilometers away from velachery towards Tambaram. My writing this mail is to invite the resident sri vaishNavaas in chennai [tamilnadu india] and suburbs around chennai to come to this temple and recite sree vishNu sahasra naamam as their kainkaryam in the koti archana – more to take part in the KOTI ARCHANAI proposed by the temple kainkarya sabha – being managed by Sri. Sreerangarajan and bhattachariar sri Raman. Your presence and willingness to recite sree vishNu sahasra naamam is what is required urgently. On Sundays, in the mornings, the recitation starts around 9am and goes on up to 12 or 1 pm depending on the participants willingness to continue. Though as per the invitation enclosed, this programme was started in January and planned to complete sometime in June 2008, due to less number of participants doing the recitation of sahasra naamam, so far the total has not even reached 20 lakhs. Hence I appeal to all srivaishnavas placed in chennai, to come, to recite and thus help the sabha achieve the target early. [and the NRI's seeing this mail and having their parents in chennai, can inform them about this and request them to reach the temple] How to reach the temple – take any bus from velachery to tambaram east [or tambaram east to velachery] and get down at Medavakkam. [NOT medavakkam koot road]. Just near the bus stop you will see the temple arch and walk in thru the arch for about 300 meters. You will see a cluster of 3or 4 temples and on the small hillock is located this perumaaL sannidhi. Dhasan Vasudevan m.g.
