{Darsanam Muscat} Sri Veeraraghavan purappadu in Sri perumbudur

Dear Swamins, Adiyen had the bhagyam of attending the Mangalasasnam of Sri Veeraraghava Perumal by Swami Desikan of Sri Vendanta Desikar koil, Sri perumbudur. Very excellent darsanam. The additinoal bhagyam of srivaishnavas was HH Srimad Azhagiya singar's Mangalasasanam of Swami Desikan and Sri Veeraraghava perumal. The programme was whole night enjoyed by hundreds of devottees through out the way. The purappadu with 6 kudais for Swami Desikan and garlanded Divyaprabanda goshti gave very high Spiritual inspiration. Emperumban purappadu with dazzling ornaments, pushpam, 4 kudais and crackers made us to forget the bhoolokam. The devottees on both sides welcomed Swami Desikan, Sri Veeraraghavan and with their family enjoyed this spiritual occasion. Adiyen spoke to Sri. Srinivasan, Trustee of Srimad Vedanta Desikar temple about this great event. Swami told this mangalasasanam was stopped in 1948 and started again with the Sankalampam of Emperuman and our Acharya Swami Desikan with the blessings of HH Srimad Azhagiya singar in 2003. On the way Sri Veeraraghavan enjoys the mandagapadi in TVS company in grand mannar. Adiyen had taken plenty of photos and will be sent to the group members shortly. This mangalasasanam is being performed 7th day after Swami Desikan Tirunakshatram every year. Adiyen request Srivaishanavas to attend this in the evening. Lots of devottees come in groups engaging cars, bus, taxies etc. Adiyen appeal to the Srivaishnavas not to miss this occasion. Dasan-- V.C.
