on Sri VishNu Sahasra Naamams created by

Sri U.Ve. AanantapadmanAbAchAr Swamy ,

the well known disciple of Vaikunta Vaasi

Purisai KrishNamAcchAr Swamy . He served

with distinction as the Associate Editor of

SrI Nrisimha Priya Magazine until recently .

Swamy 's Scholarship and tireless Kaimakryams

to share with us his erudition on sampradhAya

granthams are well known .

 

This video blesses us with a rare sevai/

darsanam of Lord RanganAtha in the

standing posture ( ninRa ThirukkOLam)

at the TuvarimAn AgrahAram near Madurai.

Situated between the two rivers of KrutamAlaa

and Vaigai , this agrahAram is blessed with

Vaidhika and Loukika SrI . The BrundhAvanam

of one of the Azhagiya Singars is also located

in this village .

 

It is my bhAgyam to share this special video

on the amruta svaroopan ( AparyAptAmrudhan ),

Sri RanganAthan in standing sevai with His

ubhaya NaachimArs . Another fascinating aspect

of this Archaa Murthy worshiped at this agrahAram

for more than 600 years is the mudharai on

the left lower hand ( hastam ) , which is like

Oppiliappan and Thirumalai SrinivAsan .

It is known as KaDee hastam , where it

is folded at mid thigh indicating that for

those who seek Him as refuge , the depth

of SamsAram is upto thigh level only

and thereis nothing to fear anymore

in crossing it .

 

It is my prayer that all of you visiting Madurai

will add a visit to this rare temple of

Lord RanganAtha standing up after

awakening from His Yoga NidhrA .
