me.

Kindly let me know. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

My suggestion is to grow the plant in a big pot and keep the pot inside the house or apartment throughout the year close to glass window so that sun light falls on it and daily water it.Honganour Srinivasarangachar KrishnaE-Mail: hokrishna--- On Sun, 23/11/08, Lakshmi Narayanan <narayananlakshmi1 wrote:Lakshmi Narayanan <narayananlakshmi1Re: Tulasi PlantOppiliappan Date: Sunday, 23 November, 2008, 7:51 AM

Respected swamy,

Generally any plant removed from one place and plant it in another place, the leaves may fell down and further it grows (Thulir veduthal). This is common for all the plant.

Don't worry. Tulsi plant will grow certainly. Especially the tulsi plant should be kept in a neat place without touching of theetu etc. and you should pour water and put a kolam with thiruvilakku, if possible.

All the best

Jai Shrimannarayana!!

If you live especially in winter climate, you have to take special

care of the tulasi plant. The web site below is the one I used and it

provides a lot of details (probably more than what you need) about

taking care of the plant, both practically and scientifically.

http://www.harekrsna.com/practice/sadhana/morning/tulasi-arati/care.htm

BTW to your question, if the leaves fall in winter, it is very

difficult to grow it back...that too, if the leaves are wilted and if

the stem is greyed out, then it will not come back. Moisture, lighting

and temperature are the most important in growing this. Hopefully that

web site will give you enough details.

good luck,
