Guest guest
Hare Krishna. Has any research been done on Vaishnavam in Ilangai ? Despite the pervasive nature of Vaishnavam in the Southern part of India due to the work of Sri Ramanuja and Sri Madhva and other acharyas in their respective lines, how is it that ilangai is not very much influenced by Vishnu worship ? Has any work been done on this before ? Would be glad to know details. dasan, jai simman, singapore. ______________________________\ ____ The fish are biting. Guest guest
Adiyen Dasan, Hari. I live in London, where there is largest Srilankan Community. I use chat with them, I have asked this question. In srilanka, there is surprise of number of Vishnu Temples, and celebration are fantastic events. There is temple called " pallei konda perumal " , where there is grant celebration every year. There are archagas, may be in brahmin (he is unable to see difference between brahmin or iyengar). Some time back in Shakthi Vikatan, there is article about the Haunuman Temple, where landed in Sri Lanka after his great Jump. The Chola Dynasty, is more towards the Saivam, so it may be influence there as well. Adiyen Comments are may be silly, any mistakes kindly pardon me. Dasen hari --- " Jai Simman R.
