Dear Swamins Please see the message forwarded. If we forget the kaarunya of Acharyan,Sri Bhagavan will not forgive us. Swami Desikan made emphasis to this in " Rahasyathraya Sara". Let us offer our " kruthagjatha"to Acharyan Water is most important to all jeevans,created by Sriman Narayanan. That too to brahmins and especially to vaishnavites. All vaideeka karmas depend on water( Theerththam--jalam--inwhatever name it may be called). Thrikala santhyavandanam after full bath, thiruvaradhanam to Bhagvan ( Vigraha, salagrama etc), thaligai as prasadam to Bhagavan --- for all these, water is important. When there is failure of monsoon rains, drought--famine spreads. This situation was

prevelant even in previous yugas You all know the story of Sri Rishyasrunga. Where- ever he went, thundershowers followed. If a Rishi--Maharishi goes to an area affected by drought due to monsoon failure, rain will automatically follow the rishi There is a tamil poem to this Nallaar oruvar ularel , avar poruttu , ellarkkum peyyum mazhai ( If a noble man with good habits is there, it will rain there on his behalf) This is kaliyuga.
