Dear Students of VaishNava Aagamams :

 

Among the two VaishNavite Aagmams ,

PaancharAthram is better known than

VikhAnasam as the chosen mode of worship

of BhagavAn .

 

Hailing from ThiruviNNagaram ( Oppiliappan

Sannidhi) , adiyEn always wanted to know more

about VaikhAnasa Aagamam , its prtotocols in

the method of worship of Sriman Narayanan .

 

Few days ago , SrI Srivatsan hailing from

a VaikAnasa archaka paramparai sent me

an authoritative monograph on Vaikhanasa

Aagamam authored by Saastra ChUDAmaNi ,

Professor S.K. Ramachandra Rao and released

by the Kalpatharu Research Academy of

Bangalore in 1990 . adiyEn will use it extensively

to summaraize the highlights of VaikhAnasa

Aagamam .

 

My Thanks are to Srivatsan for his thoughtfulness

to present this monograph to gain a better

understanding of the literature , Philosophy

and the rituals of VaikhAnasa Aagama .
