my doubt in rig veda

In an english translation of rig veda,

In the verses Book/Mandala 10-109 Hymn CIX, verses 1 thru 7.

 

1. THESE first, the boundless Sea, and Matarisvan, fierce-glowing

Fire, the Strong, the Blissbestower.

And heavenly Floods, first-born by holy Order, exclaimed against the

outrage on a Brahman.

2 King Soma first of all, without reluctance, made restitution of the

Brahman's consort.

Mitra and Varuna were the inviters: Agni as Hota; took her hand and

led her.

I have few questions.....

Who is the Brahman and consort talked about in the above passage? what

is the puranic story attached to this?
