SRI LAKSHMI NRISIMHA KAINKARYS SABHA, KOPARKHAIRNE, NAVI MUMBAI; ANNUAL UTSAVAM

S L N S K SABHA, Koparkhairne, Navi Mumbai celebrated the Fourth Annual Thirunakshtra utsavam of Sri Swamy Nigamantha Maha Desikan and Srimath Athivan Sathagopa Yatindra Maha Desikan from 16 Oct to 28 Oct 2007. It is practice of the sabha to slightly defer this utsavam to enable it's members to attend utsavams at Swami Desikan Thirusthalams.During the utsavam on all days Veda Parayanam, Divya Prabhandha Parayanam were rendered. Daily Upanyasam by Sri. Mannargudi Rajagopalachariar ,Astha Vidwan, Sri Ahobila Mutt was held in the evenings on Swami Desikan and His works. Thirumanjanam was held on 27 Oct. On 28 Oct, Swami Desikan Mangalasasanam,Pushpa Yaagam,Peria Satrumurai took place. Thiruveedhi Purappadu was organised in the evning. The Sabha also announced the Kainkaryam of donating a ' Pallaku ' to Sri Balaji Temple of Sri Ahobila Mutt, Pune for it's forthcoming Brahmothsavam in Nov 2007.It was also announced to be a Ubhyadhar for a day during Brahmothsavam at Sri Veeraraghava Perumal, Thiruvallur administered by Sri Ahobila Mutt.Photos taken by me during the festival are now available as two seperate album ,one each for 27th and 28th oct2007 at www.esnips.com/user/raghavanvee .
