SrI Ahobila Matam Jeeyars .

Sriman SR Swamy approached

adiyEn few weeks about a manuscript

dating back to 50 plus years , which

was edited by his revered Father Sri AS

Swamy , the author of the English translation of

the Commentary of SrI VishNu SahasranAmam

by Swamy ParAsara Bhattar .

 

Sriman AS Swamy had taken a lot of initiative in

editing the manuscripts from the Father of

Srimath DevanarviLAgam Azhagiya Singar

and Pandit AnanthAchArya to release

the BhagavannAma Sahasram in 1950 .

 

The Ahobilavalli Team is priveleged to release

this treasure of a SrI Sookthi with the fragrance

of VaguLaa Flowers and AzhwAr Thirunagari .

Srimathy Jayashree Desikachari has devoted

precious and significant time to assemble

the scanned pages to realize the whole book .

adiyEn will not be exaggerating , when adiyEn

says that a full understanding of this new set

of Sahasra Naamams of Bhagavaan would

preempt the need for laborious study of

various abstruse texts on VedAntham .

This is the distilled essence of Bahgavad

anubhavam of Swamy NammAzhwAr

captured and set to poetry in the verses of

DramidOpanishad Saaram and Taathparya

RathnAvaLi .

 

We will try to bring out a Fourth volume to

provide brief annotated commentaries on

these Bhagavann NaamAs .

Bhishmar in His Sri VishNu SahasranAmam referred to

the Phalan of reciting it as " PurushArTadhaa " and Swamy Desikan

refers to the fruits of reciting His assembly of Bhagavann

NaamAs as " SarvArTadhaa " meaning the fourth PurushArTam

of Moksha siddhi .
