Here is another breathtaking video from Mannargudi –

this is called Chettiar Thirukkolam. The Lord has minimalist alankaaram –

a petite pattu peethaambaram and a few jewels - and, His

Soundaryam is stunningly superb. His mischievous smile (kurumbu

punsirippu), His stylish contrapposto and the gently swinging key

chain hanging from His waist – they make you simply forget everything

else. When mesmerized by His Divya Mangala Vigraham, Bharatiar’s lines “unnai

thazhuvidilO kaNNammaa unmatham aagudhadi” come to mind. Naturally, I

have spliced Smt. MLV’s rendition of “chinnanchiru kiLiyE kaNNammaa”

with the video.
