Guest guest
Sri Ramajayam SrimathE GopAla DEsika MahA DEsikaya Namaha Dear Bhagavathas, The MahA SamprOkshanam at Nirvalur went on really well. AdiyEn captured only a few pictures, please see link below. http://nirvalur.blogspot.com/ Kudanthai Dakshinamoorthy and Vedha/Prabandha Gosham were a feast to the ears and the nice renovated temple, pushkarani behind the temple, Bhagavathas and the Divya Dhampathis were a feast to the eyes. One can forget hunger but not the (Deva)Raja Bhoga Prasadham. The new Thirumadaipalli is rather huge churning out delightful prasadhams in great quantities, including Kadham, Thadhiyannam, Chakarai Pongal, Padusha, Thirupathi style laddu & Vadai (courtesy Thirupathi Cheenu Maama's son Sri.Ramesh, who hail from Nirvalur as well). AdiyEn missed out the evening festivities (Kalyana Utsavam, Srimad Azhagiyasinghar Mangalasasanam as well as Thiruveedhi PurapAdhu) which went on in a grand manner. Yesterday the villagers have unearthed an ancient Lakshmi Narayanar idol with inscriptions on the base, below a Neem tree(used to belong to my maternal forefathers). There is a lot of excitement in Nirvalur and Asthikas are trying to know more about this murthy. AdiyEn Sri RAmAnuja DAsan, Sudarsana DAsOsmi --- " Sudarsan Parthasarathy.S.
