Invitation to join in Two Important Kaimkaryams at Srirangam Sri Rangan Sannidhi

Sri Sadagopan Swami has been performing kainkaryams (likhitha and

others)

 

He has sent the following appeal to Sri Ranga Sri

 

Dear Sri Anbil Swamin,

 

HH Srimath Poundarikapuram Andavan has blessed us with a Srimukham

for the two Kaimkaryams.

 

Sri V.N.Venkatanathan has accepted the responsibility to recieve the

funds from Ahobila Matam NA for the Kaimkaryams as well as directly

and supervise the coverage of expenditures .

 

Sri Srirangam Jeeyar has been approached to get Srimukham.

 

The Joint Commissioner of the DevasthAnam has given the official

note to start the Kaimkaryams.

 

Sri Murali Battar, the bother of Sri Nandu Bhattar known to us will

oversee the Kaimkaryam.

 

With all these things in place to assure that we have put all

safeguards in place for handling the various aspects of this once

in a life time kaimkaryam to the Lord of Srirangam and to grow the

Sri Ranga Sri.

 

Sri Sadagopan Swami mentions:

 

" After these two Kaimakryams, I will be focusing on serving adiyEn's

AchAryan and the Likhitha Kaimkaryam in Ahobilavalli Series to bring

it upto 108 E-Books. I want to close the door on Fund Raising at a

public level. There is nothing more to do after the Kaimkaryam to

NamperumAL. This is the summit for adiyEn. I can rest now "

Dear SevakAs of the Sacred feet of Sri Ranganathan

of Sri Ranga Dhivya Desam celebrated by AzhwArs

and AchAryAs of Vaidhika Mathams :

 

Today is the Friday of maasi Maasam.

 

On this sacred occasion , adiyEn is priveleged to announce

the opportunity to perform TWO rare Kaimkaryams at

the ThirukkOil of Sri Ranganathan of Srirangam dear to

all AchAryAs , AzhwArs and Aasthikaas of every darsanam .

adiyEn is gratefil to the Moderator of Sri Ranga Sri Group

for permission to announce this Kaimkaryam in the group

founded by him with tight links to enhancing the Sri Ranga Sri .

He has set rightfully hight standards for rasing funds for

dhivya desa Kaimkaryams , which adiyEn respects very much

and have tried to comply .

 

One of these two Kaimkaryams has now been fully pledged .

This one is the restoration of the Vasantha Mantapam .

The other is the samarpaNam of a new KulasEkhara Padi

in Silver .

 

The only Kaimkaryam open hence for participation at this time is

the KulasEkhara Padi Kaimkaryam inside the Garbha Gruham of

Sri Ranganathan .

 

Strict audit controls at USA and India as well as on site

supervision have been put in place to use every cent

presented to the Lord as SamarpaNams for the two

Kaimakryams .

 

(1) KulasEkhara Padi at Sri RanganAthan's Garbha Gruham

It is the replacement of the aged and worn-out KulasEkhara

(AzhwAr)

Padi right in front of the Garbha Gruham under the PraNavAkAra

VimAnam . Over many decades , the Current KulasEkara Padi

got worn out and shows now serious damage ( Portions missing and

big cracks ) . This is the proverbial Padi KulasEkahrar

sang about at Thirumala ; KulasEkhara PerumAL wanted to enjoy the

dhivya

Soundharyam of Sri BhUlOka Vaikunta Naathan from the vantage

position as a Padi in the garba gruham of the Lord . This is the

step

over which Uthsavar Sri Ranganathan steps out on His myriads

of Uthsavam year after year . This must be the step overwhich

AchArya RaamAnuja , KurEsar , ParAsara Bhattar would have

crossed over to be closer to Lord RanganathAn for their

MangaLAsAsanams and daily Kaimakryams . This must be

the step over which ANDAL and ThiruppANar crossed over to

join the Param JyOthi , Moolavar Sri RanganathAr . This must be

the step near which Thirumangai stood to have the UpadEsam on

the Param JyOthi Tatthvam of Lord Ranganatha .

This sacred Padi is thus very important for us . The Srirangam

DevasthAnam has given us permission to initiate this Kaimkaryam

as Arangan adiyArs .

Panguni utthiram and present it to the Lord of Srirangam

ceelbrated by the eleven AzhwArs and His innumerable

AchAryAs

funds and hence it is closed . Work should start

shortly to restore and reinforce this Mantapam .

SECOND KAIMKARYAM AT SRIRANGAM TEMPLE

Many of You might know the Vasantha Mantapam at

Srirangam near AzhwAn SuRRu and near ThAyAr

Sannidhi .This is a 16 pillar Mantapam probably built

by Thirumangai Mannan or by a later day King . PerumAL

goes thru this Mantapam 18 times an year as told to me .

 

This Mantapam has seen the ravages of time . The roof

has cracked from the trees growing out of there . The Joints

have loosened up and need urgent repair .

 

The pictures of the current status of the Mantapam

are included below .
