The Completion Report on Vasanatha Mantpam Renovation ( JeerNOtthAraNam)

On Feb 10 , 2008 the Vasanatha Mantapa Kaimkaryam

was initiated at Srirangam with generous support from

Many of You .The Kaimkaryam was completed last week

and has been placed at the sacred feet of the Lord to

make use during his visit to this Mantapam during 17

separate occasions in an year as a part of His uthsavams .

We are grateful to SrI Murali Battar for supervision of

the project at Srirangam , seeking the Srirangam

Dhivya Dampathi's anugraham and bringing it upto the Poorthy

stage .My additional Thanks are to Sriman V.N.Venkatanathan

of Krishnadri Charities , Chennai and Sriman Srihari Raghavan

of California for their most valued help .

On March 4 , the Measurements have been taken at Lord RanganathA's

Garbha Gruham for the commencement of the KulasEkhara Padi Kaimkaryam .

The Silver Smiths are from Karaikkudi . The estimated time to complete

this Kaimkaryam is 2 Months from the purchase of the 15 Kilograms

of Silver . Budget has been arrived at . Those who wish to know

more details on the administrative aspects of this Kaimakryam

are requested to send me a note . The Joint Commissioner of

Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple has now provided her official

approval for this Kaimkaryam to move forward .

With Lord RanganAthA's dhivyAnugraham , May we be blessed to

present the New KulasEkhara Padi on May 18 or 19 , 2008 .

May 19 is the sacred day of Swamy NammAzhwAr's Thirunakshathra

Dinam ( VaikAsi ViSaakam ) . It is also a PourNami day .

May 18 , 2008 is also an alternate possibility since

it is Swathi and it is SrI Nrusimha Jayanthi day . The exact date will be

announced later based on the Temple calendar and the progress of

the Kaimakryam to the Poorthy stage .
