SrI:

Dear Raama BhakthAs ,

Today is SrI Ramanuja Jayanthi .

It is AchArya RaamAnujA's

Thiru vathAra Dinam .

Our AchArya is known as ILayAzhwAr

since He is Raama anujar ( younger

brother of Raama) . There is some

thing in common between LakshmaNa ,

the younger brother of Raamachandra

and the PerubhUthUr VaLLal,

AchArya RaamAnuja . Both are

incarnations of AdhiSEshan

or AnanathaazhwAr , the nithya sUri

dear to Sri VaikuntanAthan . Hence ,

it is very appropriate on our part

to release a special ebook on the many

roles that LakshmaNa played to earn

the praise : " LakshmaNa: Lakshmi

sampanna: " ; the Lakshmi refered to here

is Kaimkarya Lakshmi . AchArya

RaamAnujA's Kaimkarya Lakshmi is

equally impressive ; His kaimakryam to

EmperumAn's at various dhivya dEsams

and His Kaimakryams to His AchAryAs and

AzhwArs entitles Him to be rich in

Kaimakrya Lakshmi .

We , the Ahobilavalli team chose therefore

to release the ebook on " The Roles of LakshmaNa

in Srimadh RaamAyaNam " on SarvaadhAri

RaamAnuja Jayanti day . It is the 99th ebook

in the Ahobilavalli series .

MalayankuLam SrI G. Vasudevan has provided

an extensive coverage on this unique subject

by discussing the many roles of lakshmana

as depicted in Sreemadh Raamayanam.

My Special thanks go to Srimathi Jayashree

DesikAchAri and Sriman Mannargudi

SrinivAsan of the Ahobilavalli Team

to assemble this 432 page ebook .
