He lived one hundred years (824-924 C.E) on the Lord's LeelAvibhUti of Lord RanganAtha . His AchAryan was none other than Swamy NammAzhwAr. In the Yogic meditation of RanganAtha Muni , Swamy NammAzhwAr appeared and taught the NaalAyira Dhivya Prabhandham ( the sacred collection of 4000 Tamil Paasurams ) of the twelve AzhwArs . Further, Swamy NammAzhwAr blessed His sishyan to become the First Sri VaishNavite AchAryan on earth . Swamy NammAzhwAr also performed UpadEsam on important doctrinal and religious tattvams to AchArya Naatha Muni . Latter blessed His sishya paramparais with two SrI Sooktis , NyAya Tattva and Yoga Rahasya besides setting the 4000 Dhivya Prabhnadham of the AzhwArs to Isai and TaaLam . Swamy Naatha Muni administered the affairs of Lord RanganAthan's temple for many years and created the adhyayana utsavam there . The grand perceptor ( AchAryA's AchArya: PrAchArya) of Bhagavad RaamAnuja was the grandson of Swamy Naatha Muni , YaamunAchArya ( 916-1014 C.E) . Swamy AlavanthAr salutes His grandfather movingly in His magnum opus , StOtra Ratnam . On this memorable day of Swamy Naatha Muni's Thirunakshatram , Sri HayagrIva likhita Kaimkarya GhOshti is priveged to announce the release of Swami Desikan's Tattva Ratnavali (amruta ranjanai rahasyangal) as the 4th eBook in SrI HayagrIvan series. Since it resembles a gem necklace strung together with the three gems of tattvams, it has been given the name of tattva ratnAvaLi by Swamy Desikan. In this SrI Sookti, the three tattvams (cEtanam, acEtanam and Iswaran) are covered with ten sentences (Vaakyams) each.
