Today is special day especially at Srirangam , Where Many AchAryans including Swamy Desikan spent extensive periods of their lives serving Lord RanganAtha .

 

Today is a combination of Nakshatra DhvAdasi ( JyEshta Nakshatram) , MahA PradhOsham and JyEshtAbhishEkam , which is also known as AbhidEyaka AbhishEkam .

 

On this day , the gold Kavacham used by PerumAl on every day of the year is removed , cleaned and certain purification rites are performed and then refitted to BhagavAn's ThirumEni. Turmeric water is used for Thirumanjanam ; other Thirumanjana dhravyams ( Milk , curds , coconut milk etc) are used only at the sacred feet of the Lord so that sticky substances do not get behind the kavacham at the time of readornment for the rest of the year . It is only on this day , Lord's dhivya ThirumEni can be seen without the golden Kavacham.

 

At Oppiliappan Sannidhi Srimad Poundarikapuram Andavan presented the Golden Kavacham for Sri Oppiliappan ( Ponnappan) and BhUmi DEvi ThAyAr during 1928 Kadaka JyEshtA nakshatram day . The hastha sparsam of an YathivarA led to the growth of Oppilappan Koil from then on.

 

At Thirumala , there are three days of JyEshtAbhishEkam Utsavam . On the first day , there is VajrAngi Sevai ( gem studded Kavacham) ; second dayPerumAL is adorned with His Pearl Kavacham ( Mutthangi) and on the final day ( JyEshtA Nakshtram day) , AbhidhEyaka abhishEkam is performed and the Lord is fitted with the golden or abhidhEyaka kavacham.On all the three days , there are thirumanjanams and Veethi PuRappAdu .

 

On this auspicious day , adiyEn is pleased to announce the release of the 5th ebook in the Sri HayagrIvan series . This is a chillari rahasyam from the Amruta ranjani series of Swamy NigamAntha MahA Desikan with the name of " Tattva RatnAvaLi PratipAdhya Sangraham" .

 

In the "Tatthva RathnAvaLi " Chillarai rahasyam released yesterday ,Swamy Desikan discussed in detail the three Tattvams of ChEtanam , achEtanam and Iswaran . Today's release is a succinct summary of the doctrinal aspects of the three tattvams and was hence named "Tattva RatnAvaLi PratipAdhya SANGRAHAM " by Swamy Desikan .

 

Read together , Tattva RatnAvaLi and its PratipAdhya Sangraham (ebooks 4 & 5 ) will help one gain a better understanding of the foundational concepts of Tattva Trayam as per SrI Bhagavad RamAnuja siddhAntam.
