SV Temple Cary NC Viswashanthi Yagnam Report

Dear Bagavathas,

SV Temple NC of Cary celebrated the Viswashanthi Yagnam from September 11th-14th. We had 21 Vishanva priests from all over the USA came and participated the event. Close to 5000 devotees attended the function and received Perumal and Thayar anukragam.

 

Thursday 11th evening we started of the yagnam with Sankalpam, Ritvikvaranam, Ankurarpanam, Punayaha Vachanam and Soma homam.

 

Friday 12th morning after the Arani Madhanam and Agini Prathista inside the temple perumal and thayars moved to Yagasala. Veda Ithihasa Divya Prabandi Vinnapam also started. Ghosti started chanting the Thirvoimolzi 1000 pasurams led by Sriman narayana puranam. During the procession Nadhaswaram and Maylam from Chitravelu and his group from Canada did a wonderful job. Morning we had Ashtakshri Homam and ended with veda, Divya Prabhanda Satrumurali and Teertha Prasada Vinyogam.

 

Evening we have started of with Vishnu Saharanama Parayanam with devotees. We continued with Veda Paraynam, Sri Sukta Maha Laskhmi Homam. We ended with Veda, Divya Prabhanda Satrumurai and Theertha Prasada Viniyogam.

 

 

Sept 13th Saturday morning we started of with Suprabhatha Seva, Shati Patham. Sudarshana Homam was performed very elbortately and lot of people came and witnessed the Poornahuti. Mornining ended with Veda, Divya Prabhanda Satrumurai and Teertha Prasada Viniyogam.

 

 

Saturday evenining we started of with Vishnu Saharanama Parayanam with devotees, Shanti Patham. Danvatari homam and Sri Laskhmi Narasimha homam performed very elborately with Poornahuti.. Dwara torana bali also performed. We ended the day with Veda, Divya Prabhandha Satrumurai and Teertha Prasada Viniyogam.

 

Sunday was a wonderful day. We started of with Suprabatha Seva, Shanti Patham. Moola Mantra Homam and maha poornahuti was celebrated around 11.00 AM EST and continued with Tirumanjanam and Kalyana Utsvam. Lot of Bagavathas from various placees witnessed the function. Kalyana Utsavam was celebrated having perumal and thayars in two different pallauku with Mala matruthal and magalya dharanam ceremony. We ended the day with Alwar and Acharya sambavanai, divya prabhanda satrumurai, Karayakrama Samapti and Teertha Prasada Viniyogam. It was a wonderful event and witnessed by many devotees and various Srivaishnava swamis from various temples. Jagannadha Kanduri Swamin from Denver played chief priest role to conducted the grand function. Narasimhacharaya from Oklahoma explained every event in simple and plain english to all devotees with sinficance and the importance. Ramkrishana Naraynam and Ugandhara Charyulu chanted all the veda vinapam. Yagasala was unquie in this event. We didn't use the tent. We have built the wood structure frame and cement sheet on the floor to handle the heat and ventilation.
