Guest guest Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 A programme called 'Chennaiyil Srivilliputur 'on 22 and 23 Nov 08 at Asthiga samajam Chennai , attracted large crowd , particularly with men and women in Panchakatchaam and Madisar , may otherwise be termed as '.Alwarpettaiyil Amma mandapam'.The audience keeping silence for more than 60 minutes hearing divine veena songs of SriRangarajan swami of Srirangam temple is something great thrilling experience for everyone. This programme arranged before busy Margazhi month of Music festivals, is a nice step to propagate not only Andal's Tiruppavai and Nachiyar Thirumozhi but also Nalayira Divya Prabhandam. The efforts of Dr. M.A.Anantha Padmanabha Swamy with his SARAN team to draw the attention of large youngsters is yet to gain its momentum, if it is more added with competitions of Kolam, dance, fancy dress competitions and involvement of some schools in rendering pasurams. Andal had wide ambitions and aspirations like Koodiyurunthu Kulir, Nooru thadavil Vennai, etc. Similar to that SARAN can make its next venture with more and more programmes , so as to start a University for VEDAS AND DIVYAPRABHANDAS in Tamilnadu.
