As

you know, Sri tonDar aDi poDi AzhwAr’s TN is this week (margazhi

kETTai). Is there a better way to meditate and

offer our obeisance to Sri tonDar aDi poDi AzhwAr than enjoying

the anubhavam of namperumAL while listening to tirumAlai tiruppAsurams

sung by Smt. M.S.Subbulakshmi?

I have uploaded a beautiful video clip from Tiruvarangam

– namperumAL veedhi valam in tOLukku iniyAn spliced with Smt.

M.S. rendering tiruppAsurams from tirumAlai.

 

At 02:37, you see namperumAl waiting patiently in

one of the veedhis for His aDiyArs. You see this gentlelady, a bhAgyasAli,

standing on the threshold of her house – numaperumAL waits right

in front of her house and she is mesmerized by numaperumAL’s pin

azhagu for several minutes. Reminded me of Chintayanti Charitram

– how she was mesmerized by kaNNan’s kuzhal Osai while being

forced to wait on the threshold of her house. We wonder whether we will also be

blessed to get the anubhavam of His pin azhagu – and, He

promptly obliges during the last 20 seconds of the video clip with a

tantalizing view of His naDai azhagu and pin azhagu and the video

comes to an end. And, our nenju niRai koLginRadu!
