Our sincere Thanks are to Pradeep and Anusha Chakravarthy Dampathis expecting their first child soon . Sriman Pradeep Chakravarthy has given the details of the Author of this monograph and the Publisher with a request to distribute this important booklet to as many AasthikAs as Possible free of cost . This ceremony is performed by the soon-to-be parents. It is a private publication not for sale and I therefore need your help in passing this across to people you know who may perform this ceremony in the future or to those who are researching on Hindu ceremonies. The booklet was written by DR. R Thiagarajan, HOD – Sanskrit Dept. Madras Presidency college and the booklet publication was sponsored by Bikash Niyogi of Niyogi books. My thanks to both of them!
