Vaacham

She is Sarasvathi and hence the devataa of the spoken word. - `artho

vishnuriyam vanii' says vishnupuranam.]

Padmaalayaam

She resides in the lotus flower. `padme sthitaam' says Srisuktham.

Padmaam

She is worshipped by everyone. `punscha padma sambhutha hyaadityobhut

yathaa hari:' says Vishnu puranam. When .Vishnu incarnated as Vamana.

Lakshmi incarnated as Padmai. Aaditya: is vamana: says shriidariiyam.

Shuchim

She is Purity Herself.

Svaahaam

She takes the form of Svaahaa the consort of Agni

Svadhaam

She is the patni Svadhaa of pithrus. `aham svaaha svadhaa chaiva'

says she in her conversation with Indra in Mahabharatha.

Sudhaam

She is like the divine nectar. `tvam sidhdhi: svaaha svadhaa tvam

lokapaavanii' says Indra in his Shristuthi in Vishnupuranam.

Dhanyaam

She has all the wealth

Hiranmayiim

She has all the wealth including gold. Below her feet are the two

forms of wealth, shankhanidhi and Padmanidhi and increase wealth.

Lakshmiim

She is being worshipped by everyone. Or, She has all the signs of

being the empress of all the worlds.

nithyapushtaam

She has all the vibhthis and all the qualities. Or, she is filled with

everything possible.

Vibhaavariim

She takes the form of nights. `vibhaavarii shrii:' says Vishnupuranam.

Aditim

Her form and qualities cannot be measured and are beyond comprehension.

Or, she is the form of Bhumi.

Or she supports Aditi, the mother of Devas.

Ditim

She supports Diti, the mother of Asuras.

Diiptaam

All the worlds are alight with her graceful bright light. Her tejas

cheers her devotes and frightens non-devotees. `jvalanteem tejasaa

svena saa me devii prasiidatha'

Vasudhaam

She is the form of the earth who nourishes all forms of wealth.

VasudhaaruNiim

She supports wealth

Kamalaam

She is wanted and liked by everybody

Kaantaam

She is beautiful. In the case of the text `kshanthaam'- this means

that She is patient.

Kshamaam

She is Bhoomi Devi.

Ksheerodhasambhavaam

She incarnated in the Milky Ocean

Anugrahaparaam

She is always granting (all auspiciousness). `Nityamagyathanigrahaam'

says Desikan. `sdaa anugraha sampannaa saa me devii prasiidatu' says

Mangala samhita.

Buddhim

She is the form of all intelligence. `bodho vishnuriyam budhdhihi'

says shro Vishnupuranam.

Anaghaam

She is devoid of faults.

Harivallabhaam

She is beloved to ShrimanNarayanan

Ashokaam

She is devoid of sadness

Amritaam

She is eternal or she is sweet to Bhagavan like amritham.

Dipptaam

Hence she is shining.

Lokashokavinaashniim

She removes all the sorrows of all the worlds.
