Pudukkottai Seshadri Iyyengar Swamy, a giant among scholars and a kind heart full of vaatsalyam, has reached Acharyan's (Sri Azhagiyasingar) Thiruvadi yesterday. Seshadri Iyyengar (75), noted Sanskrit and Vedic scholar, formerly ¡Asthana Vidwan¢ of Sri Ahobila Mutt passed away on Saturday at his residence in Korlagunta, due to renal failure. A retired faculty of the TTD¢s Sri Venkateswara Oriental College, Prof. Iyyengar was conferred the title of ¡Nyaya Vedanta Vichakshana¢ by the head pontiff of Sri Ahobila Mutt, while Srimad Andavan, seer of Andavan Ashramam honoured him with the title ¡Vedanta Kovida¢.
