Dear Bhagavatas,

 

Sri

Tirunarayana Trust, a public charitable trust based in Bangalore, is focused on

encouraging scholarly enterprise in the study of Sanskrit and Visishtadvaita

and promoting traditional and classical music, dance and art forms.

 

As a part of

this thrust, the Trust publishes Azhwars’ Arulicheyal selections as Audio

CDs under the title “Dravida Veda Sagaram”.

 

So far, three

CDs have been released.

Volume 1 –

Selections from Tiruvaimozhi

Volume 2 –

Selections from Mudal, Irandam and Moondram Tiruvandadi

Volume 3 –

Periazhwar Kanda Kannan – Selections from Periazhwar Tirumozhi (about 1

hour 15 minuts)

 

Sangeetha

Kalanidhi Smt. R. Vedavalli has set these Tiruppasurams to music and rendered

them.

 

For the benefit

of our Bhagavatas in North America, I have brought 50 copies of Volume 3 with

me when I came back from my recent trip to India. The suggested donation for

Volume 3 (about 1 hour 15 minutes) is US $10. If you are

interested in acquiring this CD, please send me a private email (vasu.d). I will let you know

where you send the check etc.

 

Once I gauge

the level of interest, I will bring more copies of Volume 3 as well as Volumes

1 and 2 when I visit India again in a few months.

 

Please note

that this is not a commercial venture and these CDs are not sold in shops. 100%

of your donation will be used by the Trust for their activities listed above.
