Dear Srirangangasri members and friends,

 

My Saashtaanga Namaskaram to Periya perumal and Sri Periya Paratiyaar

 

I pray to our Nam perumal and Sriranga Naachiyaar to bless all of us

with Prosperity, Happiness, and purify us from all the evil thoughts

--

 

 

After blessing the sriranga nivasis Azagiyamanavalan is leaving for

the poochathi thirunaal. He pradhakshaned the Thirukottara and

decoration was done with flower of all kinds and varieties and finally

left to the Moolasthanam.

 

After the flower decorations,Namperumal would be leaving to a

pavitrosava mandapam which is close to Dwjasthambam and just near to

the mandapam is Hayargreevar sannadhi.

 

Azagiyamanavalan would be arriving there and Thiruvaradhanam and

Naivedhyam and kosti would be performed after which Namperumal would

be blessing everyone and finally going back to Moolasthanam with Veena

Ekantham, while the sounds of the Veena course through the air ,

Namperumal ascends to the Moolasthanam.

 

 

There is a legend that Sri Vijaya Ranga Chokkanathar family of

Vizayanagaram who had donated lots of Gold and Silver ornaments to our

Azhagiya Manavalan had once visited hte temple to see Azhagiya

Manavalan's Oyyaara Nadai. But since they arrived late to the temple,

they missed seeing His oyyara nadai. They begged Namperumal to do the

nadai again, for which the lord replied that they would have to wait

to see His Oyaara Nadai during His next procession.

It it said that they wait there to date, to get His Darshanam and blessings
