Guest guest
Dear Bhagavathas, Jai Sreemannarayana. We travelled to BIRTH PLACE of BHAGAVAD RAMANUJA on last friday 8-may-2009. Adiyen is happy to share experience and feelings with the like minded groups. Bhagavad Ramanuja 's birth place near CHENNAI was always a dream for me. My grand mother used to tell stories of BHAGAVAD RAMANUJA and those times. Many times I attempted but could not go over there. All of you know the visit to such places is always a BLESSING FROM THE Divya Dampathi - DIVINE COUPLE - Lord Ranganatha and Thaayaar and ACHARYA KRUPA - BHAGAVAD RAMANUJA Anugraham. What is there? - We started our travel by car at about 9:45 am IST on this hot summer day. The desire to see our SWAMI on top of every thing. Some great men are born to bring big advantages to quality of human life at Lord's Intent. They are God's gift to human race. Our ALWARS and Bhagavad RAMANUJA are most valuable among them. The days of RAMANUJA times, when things were plenty and people are comfortable, peaceful and looked for BEYOND, this individual from this area of the word near KANCHEEPURAM, looked for eternal, better, best and established SRIVAISHNAVISM, through convincing arguments and eloborate explination of scripts. This great man who was born at SRI PERUMBUDUR changed and standardised many VISHNU temples and lead movement, that all are eligible for Lord's APAARA KARUNA and gave THIRUMANTHRAM to a common man. Witnessing the place having thoughts of RAMANUJA was a great experience. We reached place about 11:30 am IST. What is not there? - Surprisingly the place is not so popular to common man. We could enquire a contact from SRIRANGAM CHINNA JEEYAR MUTT, who guided us to go via POONATHAMALLI HIGH ROAD. Travel and enquiring side by the road, revealed RAMANUJA is rarely known, compared to present day politicians, baabaas, God men, film stars, IT parks, markets, film theatres or industrialists. We know all these landmarks today wel knownn will not have any importance after 50 years from now. On the contrary this legendary person, BHAGAVAD RAMANUJA who lived 1000 years back is still relavent today. Uncertain about the timinngs of DARSHAN, we reached the temple and some one cautioned us to go inside quickly, otherwise it may be closed. Bhagavad anugraham is great and happens in many ways and many times. We could see RAMANUJA as the aged priest (swamy) cooperated and reopened the shrine. Ramanuja Moolavar is little away in a darker room, while the UTSAVAR is bright in central hall. As we are already filled with the BHGAVAD BHAKTI, the priest there aged about 65+, was patient to expain and narrate about our beloved BAGAVAN and showed him in dim light of AARATHI. Later we could see perumal AADI KESAVAN with both the AMMAs. Every darshan of Lord and Acharya gives us divine strength, that will result in benefits is many folds. What could be possible? - I feel things can be much far better. Cleanliness, Healthy talk, Renovated and painted buildings, Bhaagavath and Bhagavad Bhakti, Less of business or trade environment. You know when MONEY is talked, relation takes back seat. This is more so when it comes to spiritual life. Someone should own the responsibility for divine atmosphere and restore the divyadesam back to DIVYATVAM and may be RAMANUJA should reborn once again. Probably, may be, we are at the temple at odd time, may be early morning things could be better. Lord Ranganatha and ACHARYA shal bless us all. ~ Ever humble to all devotees - Peesapati V V Seetharama Chari ~ Website - http://etemples.netP V V S Chari
