A musical CD on 3 cantos of Kulasekara aazhwaar

Respected Swamins,

Yesterday, I was fortunate to get a CD, which contains the musical rendering of

3 cantos of Kulasekara perumaan, extolling the greatness of Saranagathi, the

essence of our srivaishanava philosophy.

Sri Velukudi Krishnan swami has given an excellent but brief introduction,

explaining the superiority of Tamil Pasurams of Azhwars even to the Vedas.

Smt. Chitra Srikrishna has given melodious rendering to these songsin the form

of RAGAMALIKA. The music has been composed by Shri Ashok Subramanium (San Jose,

USA) and Chitra is accompanied by Charulatha Ramanujam (violin) and

C.Cheluvaraju (mridangam).
