There is no archanai done with Kumkumam inside Sri RanganAyaki ThAyAr Sannidhi .

Hnece Wet turmeric paste adorning the divine body of Sri RanganAyaki is presented as PrasAdham . I have copied one of the PradhAna Bhattars on this note so that he can

share his thoughts , if there are additional information .

OM NAMO NARAYANAYADear Bhaagavathas,Can some learned men can high light on - Normally KUMKUM is offered in all Lakshmi temples. However, WET TURMARIC paste is given as blessing from AMMA in Thayaar Sannidhi at Sriragam temple. SRIMATHEY RAMANUJAYA NAMAHADear Bhagavatha Bandhu,Not only in Sri Rangam, but atlmost in all temples of Tamil Nadu, this is a practice, the manjal or turmeric offered as prasadam in thayar sannadhi is called "Manjal Kappu", kappu means rakshai, the turmeric given in the thayar sannadhi acts as kappu for sumangali and kanya strees(women).Emperumanaar Thiruvadegale SharanamAdiyen Ramanuja
