Guest guest
Sri Veda Narayanaswami Temple, Nagalapuram, Andhra Pradesh Did you know that the most peculiar point about the Sri Veda Narayanaswami Temple is that every year during 12th, 13th and 14th days of the month of Phalguna, the sun's rays fall on the main deity between 1800 hrs and 1815 hrs? Kumar Ramabhadran Nadathur Temple Tours PS: 1. Sri Veda Narayanaswami Temple is located in Nagalapuram, 70 km south-east of Tirupati. This temple is under administration of TTD Tirupathi. This is the only temple known for 'Matsya Avatar' of Sri Vishnu 2. On the first day, they fall on the feet, on the second - on the chest and on the third - on the forehead, depicting worship by Sri Surya Bhagavan (the Sun God) himself 3. This annual incident is marked by Surya Puja along with the Float festival.
