A brief write up of the Kainkaryams of HH since taking over as the 11th Peetathipathi of the Asramam on 01-06-1989 is appended hereto. In all of adiyenâ€™s interaction with HH over 20 years, never once did He claim that He did this or that.

HH has always claimed that the â€œPathu Periyavaasâ€ {PoorvachAryAsâ€™} have motivated, enthused, moved & granted the strength to Him to carry out all these projects. Shows HHâ€™s commendable humility BUT the whole community has witnessed the breathtaking style & panache of execution of these projects at least cost!!

Details of the celebrations â€“ to be held from 10-06-2010 to 14-06-2010 â€“ will be submitted to the Sevarthis from time to time. These are your celebrations, you have to participate/ conduct/ serve/ help/ cooperate/ take charge to make this a memorable event!! The President & Secretary of Sri Paduka Charities will coordinate all aspects of the celebrations with all SishyAs, Abhimanis at all centers of the Asramam & elsewhere.

Our AchAryan had clearly conveyed that there should be NO celebrations at all for the VaikAsi Thiru Adhirai 2010 â€“ but adiyen has a 40 year track record of AchArya ApachArams & flatly refused to obey this particular order!!

Adiyenâ€™s submission was that we will follow His Niyamanam in respect of the Thirunakshatrams of all our Poorvacharyas in all respects; BUT His TN celebrations are a matter to be decided entirely by the SishyAs & Abhimanis only!!

Â

This is the only landmark event for the next five years. The next such event will come only in 2015 â€“ Sathabhishekam of HH to be celebrated with the Blessings of PoorvAchAryAs from 17-05-2015 to 21-05-2015 at Srirangam. So, the emphasis must â€“ seriously â€“ be on Vaideekas {Veda Adhikaris}, Veda/ Grantha Parayanams, BhAghavatha ThadeeAradhanam, UpanyAsams on AchArya Vybhavam, Honouring of great Scholars in VedAs, Prabandham, Saastras etc.,

Under the Guidance & Blessings of HH, the Asramam has set new benchmarks in all these activities over the years. We pray to the Divya Dhampathi & the PoorvachAryAs to Bless these 2010 celebrations as well.

Â

Staff in all centers of the Asramam will receive the same consideration as in 2005 Sapthathi, Centenary 2007 & Centenary 2009. Their Kainkaryams cannot be quantified by a mere Sambavanai â€“ but â€“ this is just a reminder to all Kainkaryaparars that we remember them & their services to HH & to the Asramam.

The combined expenses â€“ incl. Panguni Pushyam 2010 â€“ are estimated at Rs. 72.00 â€“ 74.00 lakhs including a Corpus Sambavanai to HH - which adiyen feels may go for the Patasalas; Sishyas/Abhimanis have always responded spontaneously & magnificently for such landmark events. Adiyen is totally confident that 2010 VaikAsi Thiru Adhirai will â€“ with everyoneâ€™s support â€“ be an event to remember.Â
