Dear Bhaagavatas

We have received 2 sets of KshEtrams claiming to be "Naalambalams" in Kerala housing temples for Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata and Satrugna.

The first one includes the following:

Frankly, I do not know whether the two sets refer to the same kshEtrams or they are different.

First Choice

As gleaned from an article on the subject confirming these four as “Naalamabala kshETrams”. If anyone is interested, I can attach it in a separate mail.

I had the Bhaagyam of visiting all the four when I was on official tour during service, some 30-35 years ago!

2. Lakshmanar - Moozhikulam

3. Bharathan - Irinjalakuda

4. Sathrugnan - Payemmel

There is a famous slOka which lists 5 women as "Pativratas" (chaste), in the first line.

In the second line, it says that remembrance of these women early in the morning on waking up can destroy even our worst sins.

"praatah kaalE smarEt nityam mahaa paataka naasinee"

Who are they?=================================================================================

Hint: One is the wife of a Sage who cursed her suspecting her fidelity!

One is the wife to several husbands!

One is the wife of a monkey!

One is the wife of a human!

One is the wife of a Raakshasa!
