Many of you have visited Srirangam Srimath Andavan Ashramam. When you visit, normally, you land up at Periashramam. Just before reaching Periashramam, you can see the location of Chinnashramam. Both these Ashramams are on the banks of River Kollidam and on the Srirangam-Melur Road.

 

This Ashramam houses six brindavanms of our Ashramam Poorvaachariars and the last one is that of Srimath Mysore Andavan.

 

Besides this there is another landmark of our Ashramam. This is the Gho (cows)- Saalai . Our Ashramam's presiding Uthsva Murthi is Sri Venugopalan. By the grace of Srimath Andavan, a large Gho (cows)- Saalai has been functioning for the past few years.I was told there are mre than 40 cows with their calves are being protected with all facilities. There is vast open space, and the cattle are having free movement. There are people stationed there to take care of both Brindavanms and also the cows. The milk taken out are going to the Patasalai as well as our Ashramam's college hostels. Many our devotees, who intended to do Gho-Dhaanam, are now preferring to give it to Ashramam, rather than any individuals, as in the modern days, individual donees will find it difficult to maintain them and invariably they are sold out, and god knows where they land up.
