The Brown hat of a colonial archaeologist. The Yellow hat of a faithful Saivite. The Black hat of a critic, beneath the he wars the red hat symbolizing his anti-Ramanuja and anti -Vaishnava thoughts. Sri Vaishnava Sri Krishnamachari (Garudaswamy) has exploded the myth of Nagaswamy in this book " Ramanuja A Reality No A Myth " . Nageswamy´s book is an outrageous attack on the life and mission of sri Ramanuja Any unsuspecting reader, will be misled by the so called critical analysis on the life of Ramanuja. The book is a core anti-Vaishnavite book denigrating the life and mission of the Sri Vaishnava preceptors, commentators and hagiology writers who are held in high esteem. The unsuspecting reader will be carried away by Nagaswamy´s distorted version. Hence, a fitting rebuttal has become inevitable. The rebuttal by SVS Sri.A.Krishnamachar i brings out the real Glory of Ramanuja and his mission. Nagaswamy calls the life of Ramanuja as a " Myth " and Glory the, " I have already shown that the author of six thousand Gurparambaraprabhva m and other writers on Ramanuja´s life created puranas with no regard to histories " , Page(15) He further states the " Ramanuja was the Srikaryam of the Srirangam Temple , never a party to any administrative reform, nor was interested in any social reform " , in one contributions. He makes condescending remarks on the style of narration of the life of Ramanuaja. He adds that, " Ramanuja " was a pure " Vedantin " and states that these stores were propagated by the " Pauranikas " - again a damaging statement. He terms the pious Sri Vaishnavaites as " blind followers " . He uses obnoxious words like " Disgusting wife and Ramanuja´s Falsehood " ´ " Fighting the Ghost " " Promise breaker " Concocted Stories " ´ Propagated " by Pauranikas " and Myth makers " , there by attributing ulterior motives to the original authors and biographers of Ramanuja. Theis is an ad hominium attack on our Unparalleled Acharya, who lived 992 years ago. The rebuttal by SVS Sri A.Krishnamachari titled " Ramanuja a Reality not a Myth " ´ contains many valuable findings. 01. he has established the identity of " Kirumikanda Chola´, which was an intractable problem for Historians and Hagiologists till this day. His identity has been established based on his toric and epigraphic reference. 02. He has proved the Ramanuja was great intellect and scientific thinker and his com passion towards humanity was unparalleled. 03. SVS. Sri. Krishnamachari mention inscription at Srirangam, Melukote, Thirumala and Kanchi. And discusses in depth Ramanuja " s active participation in the administration of the temples. 04. He has proved how Nagaswamy´s book " Ramanuja Myth and Reality " is flatly condescending and demonstrates how Hindu historians have not been decolonized yet. 05. He has also established that such books camouflaged as history cannot be termed as history books at all, but as hate -books only.
