Introduction to the creation of a new web site for TiruppuLLambhUtankuDi and

tiru AdanUr:

There are four divya dEsams that are under the AdhInam of SrI Ahobila MaTham.

These are Ahobilam TiruveLLUr, TiruppuLLambhUtankuDi and Tiru AdanUr. The last

two divya dEsams are in COzha dEsam on the banks of Cauvery river. Near these

two divya dEsams is SrI Nrisimhapuram, a village ceded to SrI MaTham by the

MaraTTa kings of Thanjavur.  At Nrisimhapuram, the BrndAvanams of five Azhagiya

Singars are located:  (1) HH the 25th , 26th , 30th, 37th and 38th PaTTams.

These five Azhagiya Singars span a time period of 94 years (1811-1909 C.E). The

102nd e-book in the Ahobilavalli series (http://www.ahobilavalli.org) has

detailed descriptions of the Panca BrndAvanams at SrI Nrisimhapuram.

 

SrI Valvil Raaman and SrI ANDaLakkum aiyyan are the presiding deities of

TiruppuLLambhUtankuDi and Tiru AdanUr. Tirumangai AzhvAr has performed

MangaLAsAsanam on both these divya dEsams. They do not have any revenue from the

ceded lands or from other sources. HH the 45th PaTTam Srimad Azhagiya Singar,

SrI nArAyaNa YatIndra MahA DeSikan set up a plan to create  a core fund of 40

lakhs of Rupees to conduct without interruption, the nityArAdhanam, Panca

parvAdi utsavams, Brahmotsavam and Pavitrotsavam at these two divya dEsams. It

is SrImad Azhagiya Singar's tiruvuLLam that 4,000 BhaktAs providing a support of

Rs. 1,000 each can help realize the establishment of this core fund easily .

 

In this web site, we are assembling the detailed commentaries on the pAsurams of

Tirumangai AzhwAr on these divya dEsa emperumAns as well as the sthala PurANam

and the images of the utsava mUrtis.  We are grateful for the Kainkaryam of

assembling the commentaries on these MangaLAsAsana pAsurams.
