An award-winning musician, Sanjay has performed at innumerable concerts across India and overseas, enthralling his audiences with his powerful and energetic voice. Sanjay began his musical journey at the age of seven, when he was trained for violin and vocals, under many renowned music teachers, including violin maestro V. Lakshminarayana, Rukmini Rajagopalan, besides Nadaswaram maestro, Semponarkoil SRD Vaidyanathan and Calcutta Krishnamurthy. Some of the numerous awards he has received are:* An 'A' Grade artiste of All India Radio, Madras* The Outstanding Junior Musician Award from the Annual Conference of the Madras

Venue: Ranga Mantapam

A young maestro in the sphere of Carnatic Classical Music, R.Suryaprakash is well-known and widely traveled in the music circuit today. A disciple of SangeethaKalanidhi T.V.Sankaranarayanan, Suryaprakash has imbibed the rich tradition of the legendary Madurai Mani Iyer and assimilated the best of other traditions to blaze his original trail among the present generation of musicians.

Endowed with a vibrant and felicitous voice with a range of about three octaves, he also has a vast repertoire and boundless creative expression. No wonder, his concerts have always enthralled the audience and appealed to both the connoisseur and the novice. Suryaprakash has also composed original lyrics and score for three dance productions of Nrithakshetra, Australia. Suryaprakash has a fascination for the vintage carnatic songs featured in the movie and theatre of the 1940s and has pioneered their revival by participating in special programmes on TV and cutting a disc titled "Legendary Melodies" to that effect.

The great concert will be accompanied by Shri B.V.Raghavendra Rao on violin and by Shri Tanjore K. Murugabhoopathi on Mridangam.

A young maestro in the sphere of Carnatic Classical Music, R.Suryaprakash is well-known and widely traveled in the music circuit today. A disciple of SangeethaKalanidhi T.V.Sankaranarayanan, Suryaprakash has imbibed the rich tradition of the legendary Madurai Mani Iyer and assimilated the best of other traditions to blaze his original trail among the present generation of musicians.

Endowed with a vibrant and felicitous voice with a range of about three octaves, he also has a vast repertoire and boundless creative expression. No wonder, his concerts have always enthralled the audience and appealed to both the connoisseur and the novice. Suryaprakash has also composed original lyrics and score for three dance productions of Nrithakshetra, Australia. Suryaprakash has a fascination for the vintage carnatic songs featured in the movie and theatre of the 1940s and has pioneered their revival by participating in special programmes on TV and cutting a disc titled "Legendary Melodies" to that effect.

The great concert will be accompanied by Shri B.V.Raghavendra Rao on violin and by Shri Tanjore K. Murugabhoopathi on Mridangam.
