Guest guest
Most widely followed convention is:Two (2) in the even numbers and Three (3) in the odd numbers are not advisable. It means either we should have 1 saligramam or 4+ saligramams. Of course, there is a possibility we may have 2 or 3 saligramams while trying to collect at least 4 (as these can't be bought easily). In such a case one of the suggested practice is to ensure that we keep such saligramams separately and perform Aradhanam separately. dAsan,SudarsananOn Tue, Dec 1, 2009 at 3:54 PM, padmaja rajagopalan <padmarajagopalan wrote: dear bagavadhas, please explain how many (Odd or Even) saligramam we can keep at home and perform aaradhanam. Guest guest
hello,Odd number of SaaLigrAmams should not be worshipped. If there are 2 SaaLigrAmams , perform complete AarAdhanam for one and just NaivEdhyam for the other until you get two more. If there are three, perform AarAdhanam for one and naivEdhyam for the other two. Guest guest
Adding to sudarsanan and thothadri, saligramams should not be bought by us, we get it from others as a dhanam. Saligramam aradhana is said as best aradhanam. In temples also they will have salagramam, Eventhough they perform the aradhanam for moola moorthy, uthsavar and the nithyotsava perumal the aradhanam will get completed only if they perform for salagrama moorthy. Regarding ladies opening the salagrama box, its upto their family Dasan, Vijayaragahavan K padmaja rajagopalan <padmarajagopalan Sent: Tue, 1 December, 2009 3:54:39 PM Doubts about Saligramam dear bagavadhas, please explain how many (Odd or Even) saligramam we can keep at home and perform aaradhanam.
