Guest guest
Sri: -- Dear Srirangasri members and friends My Sastanga Namaskarams to Sri Ranga Divya Dhambathigal! Mangala Saasanam to sriranga Sri Memebers! Happy to meet you over the mail on the 7th day of the Thiruppali Odam Thirunaal Today is the 7th day of Theppam Thirunaal festival at Thiruvarangam. Our Azhagiya Manavalan, Namperumal goes to Thiru Kottaram.means . There is a granary here where Dhanyas are kept. As a customary practice, our Azhagiya manavalan goes to the granary to verify the produce. After this, He goes around all the Four Utthra streets.. As he strolls through the streets one may notice the beauty in various parts. It is so hard to write about His beauty. I am lost for words while trying to describe his beauty. While trying to explain the beauty of His Thirumudi (Crown), my focus suddenly moves towards His bright face. Then my eyes catch the beautiful smile on His lips. Then, moving slightly upwards, the Kasturi Thilakam on His forehead is so decorative. Then my eyes are caught by the beauty of his eyes. The beauty of his lotus petal shaped eyes are as aptly described - " Kamala Nayana " . (Neenda apperiyavaya kangal annai pethamaiseithanavey). Then the glitter on his stud make me wonder if it is one of the twenty-seven Nakshatram or is it referring to the Revathi Nakshatram. Then his beautiful Vakshasthalam where Lakshmi sits drags my attention. It is so hard to explain in words, the beauty of the combination of His Vakshasthalam and Lakshmi on it. His broad shoulders ( Bujam), perfect man (aptly described as Purushottama), and the chaturbhujam add more beauty. As if this was not enough, shankham and Prayoga chakram on His hands make Him look like the " Real King " . His Abbaya Hastham makes me so confident that he is always with me, taking care of me. Even though his palm gives abhayam like a father, the fingers on His palm are so tender like that of a child's. This is a beauty that can be seen ONLY in HIM. With all this, the " Ghadhai that He holds is so beautiful and reassuring that He holds all the weapons to protect us. Then I go down a little bit to see his waist band (arana kayar). It looks so nice on Him. (kannunul siruthambinaal kattunda). The Peethambaram that He wears looks so delicate and soft on Him. The texture and colour adds so much beauty. My focus suddenly is distracted by the jingles I hear. Then I realize that it is the sound of his Thanga Golusu (Gold Anklet). It adds so much more beauty, just like the gold rings on his tender fingers!!! In all, the happiness on His face as He walks swiftly yet gracefully with Sridevi and Bhoodevi Thaayar talking to both of them, is unmatched!! All that I can say is that one life time is not enough to describe the true beauty of Ahagiya manavalan. One has to be there to see Him. But I can assure everyone that nobody can ever get a full satisfaction of seeing Him, as the thirst remains quenched only as long as you are in front of Him. He makes you want to run back to Him all the time! Our Prayers are alwasy be with you! Vachka Dhosham kshameekavum! Adeyen Dhashan Narasimha bhattar! 2 of 2 Photo(s)
