Dear Ks.J swamin,adiyen dasasya vignaapanam.As a native of Thiruppullani, adiyen thank you for your nice presentation of Thiruppullani under the series "Sri Rama Dharisanam" . It is almost error free even though some more related to Rama might have been added. But adiyen object one thing strongly. You have written that after performing Siva Poojai at Rameswaram, Rama came to Thiruppullani with Sita. Normally anything written by Sage Valmiki alone is accepted as authentic by our Poorvacharyars and all the Pontiffs of Srivaishnava Mutts and Ashramams till date. There is no such reference about either Siva poojai or Rameswaram by Valmiki. By the patronage of Ramanathapuram Sethupathis, who, except a few, were staunch Saivites, later day Nainmars created such stories and as Rajas supported general public also spread it wild, as was the custom of those days. I feel that must have been avoided. If possible kindly correct it. Likewise, during nagaprathistai performed by childless couple, Jalathi vasam ritual alone will be performed in the previous day's night and the couple may stay elsewhere outside the temple.
