Guest guest
Swami's Visit aroused the spirit of Srimaan Bhattar Kuzham The Children of Bhattar Kuzham are definitely bhagyavaans. They have been blessed by Lord Ranganathan while in garbham which is called jaayamana kaala kataksham. Otherwise, it is impossible for them to get repeatedly drowned in the kataksha of great Acharyas. H.H. Sri Paramahamsa Vanamamalai Jeeyar swamy made a majestic and merciful visit to Bhattar kuzham and showered his grace on all the children. Bhattar Kuzham can reach great heights only if it receives the blessings of great acharayas. Such visits are happening frequently as we had Tridandi Chinnajeeyar swamy's visit last month and now, H.H. Sri Vanamamalai Jeeyar swamy's . It is said that the kalyana gunas of Lord Sriman Narayana can be seen in his adiyars too. Validating it, we could see the great kalyana gunas of emperuman in Jeeyar swamy. His gracious visit reflects Karunyam, high accessibility shows Sowlabyam, scholarly speech shows Gnyanam. The sastras laud Acharya as 'acharyavAn purusho veda'. Lord Krishna standing in the battlefield amidst Pandavas and Kauravas called acharyas as 'tattvadarshis'-the persons who alone can help us understand the great tenets of sampradayam . Interestingly, we had a recent revelation. Sri Manavala Maamunigal in his 30th pasuram of Upadesarattinamalai says ' seer kaliyan thoondriya oor'. The serial no. of the pasuram is 30th . Our Vanamamalai swamy's pattam (peetam) too is 30th and He is Kaliyan swamy!(The Kaliyan swamy pattam comes once in 5 consecutive pattams). Jeeyar Swamy patiently listened to the children's speech on Thiruppavai Vyakhyanam and azhwars' divya charitrams. He asked them to render a few verses from Sristavam and Athimanushastavam. Swamy was overwhelmed when all the children rendered the stotras flawlessly and with the appropriate diction and pronunciation. His wonderful, mighty, and mellifluous speech made children realize many important aspects of our sampradayam and set ablaze their quest for more sampradayic knowledge . Swamy enthusiastically enjoyed the Q and A session on kovil ozhugu. Swamy spent nearly 3 hours with the children. He addressed them as rishi-putras and putris acknowledging their discipline and knowledge. The auspicious visit of swamy ended with Thiruppavai competition prize distribution to the students. We pray the divine couple to send more such srivaishnava sampradaya torch-bearers to bless our children so that the flame in them is never extinguished !
