This is a wonderful opportunity to visit and experience the Aadi Thirunaal at Srivilliputtur.

since apart from the weekends, ThiruthEr this year is on 15 Aug being a National holiday.

 

Podhigai express from chennai reaches Srivilliputtur around 6:30 am in the morning and on return is around 8:30 pm and reaches egmore by 6:45 am.

This Adi month is a divine one since Sri Andal took birth during this

month Adi-Pooram thirunakshatram. As exclaimed by Sri Manavala

Mamunigal "EmakkaagavanrO ingu Andal avatharithAL". She took birth in

this earth - iruL tharumA j~naalam - to uplift jeevAtmas from the

samsAra sAkaram. AdiyEn prostrates into HER divine lotus thiruvadi !!!

 

As a child of the divine mother -Sri Andal - adiyEn requests all

bhAgavathas to attend any of the following important Uthsavam that is

scheduled at Sri Villiputtur - 'Gothai vaalum oor Govindhan vaalum oor"

The festival begins on 5th August and ends on 18th August 07. Some of
