Dear Bhagavatas,

I am an astronomy PhD student in the UK and will be visiting the

NASA/Goddard Space Flight Research Centre near Washington DC, USA on

work-related business this June. I understand this is very close to

the Shiva-Vishnu temple at Lanham, MD. It would be my pleasure to

meet with any members of the list who may live in the nearby area and

are free around that time. My period of stay will probably be June

1st - June 13th 2008. I would be very happy to find out about any

activities which may be going on at the temple in the

evenings/weekends during this period.

Also, I would be very interested to hear if any of those staying

locally know of any cheap accommodation near the NASA/GSFC in

Greenbelt (I am on a student's budget unfortunately!). Additionally,

I have heard that the GSFC canteen is known for not being very

vegetarian-friendly and any suggestions of places which might be

better equipped to cater for me would be welcome (I am guessing the

temple does not do lunch-time " tadiyaaraadhanam " , otherwise I would

gladly go there every day!)

with regards and praNaamams,

daasan
