Vyakhyana Saram: This second thaniyan for Thiruppalliyezhuchchi was written by another acharya of Ramanuja, Thiruvaranga Perumal Araiyar. The thaniyan statesthat Thondaradippodi Azhvar who stands at the height of being in His service was born in the divine and ancient city of Thirumandangudi, and that this city is celebrated always by great vaidikas.
