(triplicane). He has been Parthasarathy temple Adhyabaga gosti memberfor more than 55 years and had adorned the secretary post of SriParthasarathy svami temple Veda adhyabaga gosti for about the sametime. He is also the secretary of Udayavar(Ramanuja) kainkarya sabha

rendering kainkaryams to svami Ramanuja in thiru-alli-keni. He turned80 recently and it was celebrated as mahotsavam in Thiruvallikeni withfull temple honors. If one asks about his notable achievement, athiruvallikeni vasi would say he has taught innumerable srivaishnavas

the whole 4000 dhivya prabhandam which is chanted thought out the yearin sri parthasarathy temple aptly called " Arulicheyal Mandapam " .adiyen is grand son of our svami and was blessed to to participate in

this function and happened to take some pictures which i would like toshare with you all. the first three days of the function was held atour kudil and the last two at mandapam. thiruvallikeni srivaishnavasand many other dhivya desam srivaishnavas had come in scores to

celebrate this occasion.since it was held 5 days the temple honors were split into 5 (Fromfive perumals) in the order Sri Mannathan (ranganatha), Sri Ramar, SriVaradhaRajar, Sri Thelliya singar and on the final day with temple

paraphernalia (two kudai, two samaram, thiruvanbhandam, brahmathaalam, vaadhyam) Sri parthasarathy perumals honors came to thefunction hall. Many other temples where svami served perumal sent duehonors to our svami. I have given caption in the photos so that the

viewers understand.The function was held for 5 days across 9 velais(sessions). thenaalayira dhivya prabhandam in entirety, Saptha kaanda Yajur vedhaparayanam, Ithihasa patanam, Vyakyana patanam and Stotra pada gosti

were held. It is a tradition in thiruvallikeni, that in thirumaaligaiceremonies the naalayira dhivya prabhanda kramam is chanted in thefollowing way (Muthalaayiram, irandamayiram(Periya thirumozhi),Moonram aayiram(Iyarpa) and thiruvaimozhi, Iramanusa nootranthathi and

Upadesa ratnamalai). Yajur vedha parayanam was completed in 5 longsessions. on all the days grand thadiyaradhanam was organized for allthe srivaishnavas. on special paasurams various thiru amudhus wereprepared as is custom in sri Parthasarathy temple ( for example

Vipperu vizaavum paasuram thodakkam.. Sakkarai pongal is the thiruamudhu).first day 21st Aug: Session 1: Started of with thiruppallanduthodakkam and Periyazvar thirumozi sattrumurai. and in the session 2in

the eveing started with thiruppavai nachiyar thirumozhi tillkanninunchiruthaambu. the second session went on till about 9:30 inthe night.Second day 22nd Aug: Session 1: Periya Thirumozhi thodakkam first 400

paasurams were chanted. Session 2 in the evening another 400 paasuramswere chanted.Third day 23rd Aug: Session 1: the Final paasurams of Periyathirumozhi, thirukurunthandakam, thiru Nedum thandakam, Muthal.,

Irandam and Moonram thiruvanthathi were chanted and MoonramThiruvanthathi (Stala Azvar) sattrumurai. Session 2 Starting fromNanmukan thiruvanthathi... till Periya thirumadal sattrumurai(IyarppaSattrumurai).

Fourth day 24th Aug: Session 1 Thriruvaimozhi thodakkam 600 paasuramsof thiruvaimozhi was chanted and " ulagamunda peruvaaya " saattrumurai.In evening there was a souvenir release and a vidvat sadas comprising

of renowned scholars (Sri U.Ve velukkudi Krishnan svami, Sri U.Ve VVRamanujam Svami, Sri U.ve DrMA Venkata krishnan svami, and Sri U.Ve KBDevarajan svami ) lectured on the topics " Nam perumal, Nam Azvar, Nam

Jeeyar and Nam Pillai " . In the function malar thiruvaradhana Kramam byboth jeeyars(Sri Ramanuja and Sri Manavalamamunikal) nithyam andJeeyar Padi was released. Advocate Sri Ramasamy Iyengar released thebook and Dr. U.Ve Manavalan Svami received the book. Incidentally

during our svamis 60th birthday celebrations Sri U.Ve.VelukkudiVaradacharyar svami had given upanyasam on the title " Namperumal " .Session 2 the next 300 paasurams of thriuvaimozhi was chanted (Maalainanni Sattrumurai). shortly i will make the copies available on the

web (will scan the book and put it in the web)Fifth Day Morning: Final Centum of thiruvaimozhi, iramanusanootranthathi and Upadesa ratna malai were chanted. Udaka santhiparayanam, ayshomam, Yajurvedha parayanam sattru, kanakabishekam was

done. Then grand sattrumurai of Veda Ithihasam,stotra padam anddhivya prabhandam took place. Azvar Emperumanaar Jeeyar and asmadaacharya sambavanai were offered.Then Thiruvallikeni Parthasarathytemple Devastana maryadhai came along with temple parapherneila. It

was welcomed at the door by Sri TNC Rangarajan Svami and Sri TNCNarasimhan Svami, mangala harathi to the maryathai was done by SriParthasarathy Bhattar svami. First Sriparthasarathy Svami's honor wasrendered to namsvami chanting Vipperu vizavum paasuram, District

Commissioner of the temple gave thevastra maryathai of parthasarathyemperumaan and Sri Sarathy Bhattar the garland worn by SriParthasarathy (Incidentally the one who wore the garland wasParthasarathy (Perumal), the one who put the Garland was Parthasarathy

(Bhattar) and one who got the garland was also Parthasarathy (namsvami)) then various Dhviyadesam Maryadhai honors were rendered on toour svami starting from ThiruArangam, Thirumala, Kanchi, ...till localtemple chindadripettai chanting various sannidhi paasurams. do look in

the picture for the list.with perumal azvar Acharya bagavata blessing the function went onnirvignam, and was a wonderful experience to see when all themachinery worked together to make this function a grand success. It

I am very happy to see the pictures and videos. Wow massive celebration.

I am one of the grand son of Sri.Venkatesa Iyengar Swami. Even though i am in Singapore for last four years, the photos, videos are remembered me as such i was also participated in the grand function and felt standing in the ghosti and got the blessings from svami.
