Guest guest
Srimathe Ramanujayanama: Sriya:pathi Sarweswaran desired that some of the Nithyasuryas should go to Bhoologam to help the sethanars (Chetanas) to get relief from the sufferings they were encountering. Thus the Azhwars and Acharyas were born to preach the way to attain Paramathma and to teach them how to cross the hurdles laid by enemies on their way to reach the Abode, the highest realm, the Vaikundam by following the path of Self-Surrender (Saranagathi). Sarweswaran Sriman Narayanan was always with these Azhwars and Acharyas, every now and then showing HIS extreme benevolence on them and encouraged them in their task of helping human beings. There are innumerable incidents described by our Poorwachars where Bhagavan shown HIS abundant kadatsham on them while performing their sacred mission. Adiyen is pleased to give below one such sacrosanct occasion when the three Mudalazhwars , Poigaiyar, Bhoothathar and Peyar met each other. All the three Azhwars were living separately leading a yogic life, preaching Srivaishnavam and the way to attain the Abode, wherever they went. Bhagavan wanted these yogis to get together and made them congregate at Thirukovalur. First Poigaiyar reached the place. As there was heavy rain he took refuge in a small shelter. The other two Azhwars, Boothathar and Peyar, also took refuge at the same place. They decided to stand side by side as the place was enough for only one to lie-down, two to sit and three to stand. Bhavan also came there and tried to squeeze between them. When the Azhwars felt somebody- the night was dark and nothing was visible- was squeezing them, they wanted to know who the fourth was. They saw in their inner self the glittering Swaroopa of Sriman Narayanan. The Azhwars one after the other passionately outpoured their heart and their minds were pervaded with the inner realization of the mystic Swaroopa of Lord Narayana, started singing in praise of HIM. Thus came the three Thiruvandadis to rescue this world. Poigaiazhwar sang the Mudal (First) Thiruvandadi starting with the stanza “Vaiyam Thagaliyaâ€, thereby lighting the Gnyana Deepam (lantern of Knowledge) Bhoothathazhwar sang the Erandam(Second) Thiruvandadi, starting with the stanza “Anbe Thagaliyaâ€, thereby enlightened with pure Bhakthi (awakened by the consciousness of being eternally with HIM) Peyazhwar sang the Mundram (Third) Thiruvandadi starting with “Thirukkanden Ponmeni Kandenâ€, thereby realizing Iswara Kadatsham ( to experience the resplendent beauty of Bhagavan’s Swaroopa). “Adiyen worship the Guruparampara Beginning with Lord Lakshminathan Having Nathamunigal and Yamunaithuraivar in the middle Ending with Adiyen’s Acharya†Adiyen Ramanujadasan Ranga Madabushi New Email names for you!
