Guest guest
If devareer are like adiyen, we are eager to go to many srivaishnava web pages and download various pdf files, word files, mp3s, etc., related to our sampradhayam and store in our hard disk for later use. Many times some web pages contain a lot of links and we end up right-clicking each of them and doing Save As, select a directory, etc. We may also have to wait for a few downloads to complete before repeating the process for remaining links in the page. Recently adiyen found an add-on to firefox browser (surely this should be available for Internet Explorer browser also, please google) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201 After installing this add-on it would be available as an option in the Tools menu. When you are on a web page, choose DownloadAll! from the menu, it would list all the links in the page, then you can include/exclude the files you want to download. The beauty of this is that if you just want to download only a few links from a web page, you could just highlight those links and then when you choose " Download All! " from the Tools menu, it would only show the files pointed to by those highlighted links. Even then you could individually choose/exclude the files that it displays, and proceed to download. It would automatically download as many as possible. Once it completes downloading a file it would automatically proceed to download the next file in the queue. It plays a nice little sound when it completes downloading all the files. For the price we pay for this tool (Rs.0), it does such a wonderful job. There are similar other tools available, but adiyen started using this one. Happy downloading!
