In his Thiruvaymozhi pasuram "thALathAmarai" for Thirumogur (10-1), Nammazhvar sings"kALamEgaththai anRi maRRonRu ilam gathiyE". TheLord of this divyadesam is known as "kALamEgam".It is elegant to experience this Lord through thename "mugilvaNNan". No one can know where or when a cloud will rain.Similarly, no one can know on whom or when the cloud that is Krishna will shower His mercy ("nAsau puruShakArENa na chApyanyEna hEtunA, kEvalam svEchChayai vAham prEkShE kanjchit kadAchana"). The cloud will exhibit lightning atone place and shower at another. Sri Krishna shoneat Mathura and showered His grace at Ayppadi.
