(TVM4.10.6) Azhwar continues to advise the souls to worship the perumal in Thirukkurugoor to get out of the magical web of samsara. It was Perumal who weaved this web. Azhwar raises a question to himself about the reason for perumal to create multiple devathas, and answers the same in this pasuram. Perumal has created this universe as part of his leela. He is the one who has created both good and bad things. He is the one who also protects all the souls in this world. A mother always protects her child. When her child eats the sand, the mother comes to protection by offering proper medicine. Similarly, perumal has also created this universe with both good and bad things and the other devatas. He watches the souls in samsara constantly. All the souls in samsara should realize the above-mentioned powers of perumal, who resides in Thirukkurugoor. Consequently, these souls should quickly reach Thirukkurugoor, and worship AadhippiRan. koodi vaanava rEththaninRa thirukkurugooradhanuL adiyen ramanan
